A Chinese Glass Snuff Bottle - Aquamarine Streaks

This snuff bottle is in the shape of a slightly flattened pear shape. It has numerous streaks of a soft aquamarine color. It has been of some sort of very hard glass made to simulate jade. We think this must be glass the way the green color occurs in fluid, ribbon-like swirls - that would not be a normal occurrence in true jade.

The stopper is a lovely greenish blue domed stopper with a bone ivory spoon attached. The bottle is extremely well hollowed...
