Japanese smoked bamboo ikebana basket

A fine ikebana basket of smoked, evenly split bamboo woven in a fairly regular pattern. The loop handle also of split bamboo woven around two looped bamboo splints. Very good condition. Late 19th, early 20th century. Height: 15 5/8" (39.7 cm)
