A Nepalese Copper/ Bronze Figure - Seated Buddha

This very fancifully designed Buddha has a very intricate mandorla typical of many Nepalese depictions of the Buddha. The sides of the mandorla are decorated with animals, columns and other designs hard to identify. It is a medium sized copper/bronze Shakyamuni, the historic Buddha is shown with his right arm raised and his right hand facing outward.
