Daishoji Imari plate marked "Da Ming Jiajing nian zhi"

This is an Imari-style Japanese porcelain plate, made in Kutani (known as "Daishoji Imari") after the region in Japan where it was produced. It dates from the very early 20th century (late Meiji, 1900-1910, or maybe a little earlier).

In the centre it shows several stylised phoenices, around the rim there are two reserves with stylised dragons chasing the flaming pearl, two more with stylised floral and four with abstract designs...
