A Fukugawa Bud Vase – Showa

This lovely Fukugawa bud vase features an underglaze design of a brilliant orange peony with blue leaves. It is 5” high and is 2” diameter at its widest. The vase is in excellent condition with no chip or cracks. We date it to the early Showa period, circa 1930-1950. It has the blue mountain trademark of the Fukugawa potters.
