A Large Rice Bowl - Tek Sing Cargo–1750s–1822

This is a handsome large rice bowl that was retrieved from the Tek Sing Cargo – see footnote - in 1999. The Tek Seng had sunk in 1822, so we can be sure that this piece dates from sometime during the period of the mid 1700s to 1822, Qing Dynasty. The bowl measures 6 ½” diameter at the top and is 3 “high - the foot measures 3 ½” diameter.
