Qing Ge Jar

Rare Qing Dynasty, at least 18th century, jar with Ge type glaze. This could possibly be much earlier but published references on this genre are scarce, I have one example of a simple Ming meiping- Complete Collection of Ceramic Art Unearthed in China, Vol. 14- Jiangxi, with a similar indistinct cracalature and mouthrim shape. Usually these jars are quite small and are unglazed inside the footrim so this one is large and sophisticated in comparison...
