A very finely pierced ivory brise fan with paper leaf delicately painted in the the design of flowers and leaves.The ivory guard sticks are intricately carved with carved garden scenes including pavilions,willow trees,blossom and distant mountains. This fan is carved and painted on both sides. Made in China for the European export market,c 1780.
