A Taihu Scholar's rock. Nicely balanced on carved hardwood stand. The rock of course has good age. But it is difficult to say when it may have been harvested for mounted display. But all sides show comparable patina. Good condition. A few minor points of impact with varying patina and in no way compromising the whole - stone naturally being subject to abrasion and erosion...
