A Mandarin square dating to the end of the Qing dynasty. A female front insignia with an appliqued peacock bird, denoting the third civil rank. Embroidery in metallic threads on purple silk, glued on cardboard. Condition: glued on cardboard, little wear, a small stained area, fresh colors (please look at the photos carefully - they make part of the condition report). Dimension: c. 30 cm high x 31 cm wide.
