Japanese Arita Kiln Reticulated Bowl With Lid, 19th CJanuary 2013 Auction by Far East Asian ArtA fine turn of the century Arita serving bowl and cover, the bowl with molded and reticulated border of interlocking rings, wachigai, forming a band of auspicious “shippo”, the interior decorated in blue, orange and beige fish and lilies, auspicious symbols of longevity and good fortune. The underside marked with a lucky symbol. The bowl is in good condition, having some flaking on the perforated cover. No restoration or chips. The dish measures 12" diameter x 2 3/4" high.
