Straits Chinese Embroidered Bed Hanging

An impressive 5 meter long embroidery, that was used to decorate the wedding bed. Decorated in gold thread with Chinese figures, flowers and animals and a small round mirror buttons. Dimensions: 505 x 35 cm. Condition: age wear, loose threads, stains, missing parts. Ca. late 19th/early 20th century.
