Chinese Hardwood Sculpture of Shoulao

Shou Lao, the Daoist god of longevity, with his staff, holding a peach. He is standing on a rootwood stand. H. 26 cm. Condition: age cracks, most probably the staff is missing its top part, possibly there was another sculpture (a crane?) on the right side of the stand. Late 19th century. Old price € 475, now on sale for € 275.
