A decorative and functional, round tray in negoro lacquer w. the black ground coming through the red surface in imitation of wear. Inscribed on the back in red characters. Japan, Taisho or early Showa. Fitted flat storage box. D 25.5 cm. Condition: Very fine with minimal wear to bottom. No breaks or chips.
