Collection of Chinese Embroidered Lotus Shoes, 19th C.July 2016 Auction by Far East Asian ArtThree different pairs of antique used silk lotus shoes with low heels for a Chinese lady having bound feet. Made of silk and cotton distinctly decorated with embroidery and woven ribbons. Condition: all shoes are worn, faded, with loose threads, and two pairs have lost parts of the ground fabric.
