An highly attractive tea pot of glazed stoneware with a powerful, squat, hexagonal shape decorated in a dense, ox blood glaze, which a places run thin to reveal the contours of the pot’s corpus underneath. Made by Kawai Kanjiro’s student Ueda Tsuneji (1914–1987).
