Votive image of the Gohonzon, the graphic representation of the Lotus Sutra as the enlightened reality in accordance with the tenets of the Nichiren School of Japanese Buddhism ( Namo moho renge kyo) . As such it features the names of all the primary deities in the Lotus Sutra in addition to the title of the scripture itself.
