19th Century Japanese Okimono of A Deity - Signed

Offered here is a nice old Japanese Okimono carving of a Deity. The Okimono appears to be carved from the end of a tusk. The base is of "walrus" ivory, which may also be the origin of the hollow tusk piece. The base and upper portion of the okimono measure 4.5" in height, 2.25"wide and 1.38" deep. The base is signed. The round base on which the Okimono is shown is not part of the Okimono.Please feel free to email any questions.
