Interesting Ceramic Chinese Figure - Boy/Pot

A delightful Chinese ceramic figure of a boy seated on a large pot. We do not have the faintest idea as to the pottery from whence this came - just found it to be a charming piece when we came across it in Beijing. The piece shows a boy done in blue accents with a reddish flower held in his hands. He is seated on a large pot that has the same reddish accents on it. Overall, the piece measures 7 3/4" high x 3" wide x 2 1/4" deep...
