A Bronze Metal Figure of Daikoku - Meiji/ Taisho
August 2014 Auction by Far East Asian Art
This is a sweet little bronze okimono of Daikoku - also known as Daikokuten. The casting measures 4" high and is 3" wide by 3 1/3" deep. The condition is excellent and the patina is quite nice. We date it to the late Meiji to early Taisho period, circa 1890 - 1920.
