A very large silk yonhwado painting by Korean painter Hang San is a serene and soft scene of three waterfowl nestled among large lotus leaves. Traditional Korean lotus paintings, called yonhwado, were displayed in Korean homes during summer months on the open wood verandah or on the walls of the gentlemen's quarters.
