An Annamese blue and white covered box in a circular form with a flattened cover. It has a stoneware body decorated in underglaze cobalt - blue with a peony spray on the cover and vegetal sprays between diaper pattern on the sides. The box/jar measures 3" diameter at the waist and is 2” high. The box is glazed on the inside but has an unglazed interior on the foot. The top and the bottom are well matched to one another.
