An unusual and interesting jingasa of gold-lacquered woven reeds. Inside lacquered black with a ‘Three-times kamon’ indicating clan affiliation. Original inside padding. This is not a parade piece, but an authentic, historical hat. Edo, 19th cent. D 42.5 cm. Condition: Minor wear from use otherwise very good!
