Chinese Blanc de Chine Figure of the Fertility Guanyin

A Large porcelain figure (blanch de chine) of the Songzi Guanyin (Avalokiteshvara bringing children)holding a small child on her lep, sitting on a cliff rising from the sea. On the right is the vase for the willow branch and on the left the Guanyin Scripture. She is flanked by Sancai and Longnu, and below the two dragons chasing the pearl. The image is hollow-sculpted from two parts. Qing, ca. 1800. H 35.5 cm. Condition: Rather good, but with losses to the crown and at the two dragons.
