Japanese Porcelain Plate - Egrets - Showa - Signed

An unusual Japanese porcelain plate with a design of fifteen egrets' heads which then merge into a single body. The heads are outlined on a robins egg blue border and the rim is gold. In the center of the plate on a pale yellow circle in a geometric design in black. One oddity about the design is that one of the fifteen birds has his tail feathers showing rather than the head. The plate measures 8 1/2" diameter and is 5/8" deep. It is signed on the base - not translated...
