An Unusual Shaped Japanese Cloisonne Vase

This is a rather unusual shape for a Japanese cloisonne vase with its long narrow neck and it flared base with a sharp edge to the waist of the base. Because of the color combinations and shape we have an idea it might have been made for the Persian market. It dates from the early Meiji period, circa 1870s and is in excellent condition.
